Ein hod

The series "Ahead of you" is inspired by a trip that I traveled in my country recently. the paintings are as somewhat like diary of visual expedition in combination with a journey into my own feelings and thoughts.

okay to be honest, I think it's great....the only thing is that the figure seems to bee slightly askew....but I love the colors, I love how nature dissolves into the sky and light and shadow are in a good balance....

i was just following the photo reference...trying to paint the atmosphere there.
i remember the shadows of the trees, covering and shading us from the sun. Mini, my dog is there too. :giggle:

i like this one also better then the other one. its got more atmosphere of the place where we have been!

there is some interesting motion from left to right in this painting... the only critical thing i would say about the landscape aspect of the painting is that the trees on the rightside seem a bit too solid to me.
but there is a nice sense of depth to this though over all.
